Why Merino Wool
Merino wool is different from common wool, as it comes from a specific type of sheep with different and beneficial properties, with a very fine, soft and high-quality fiber that adapts better to the skin. Being so fine, it is very warm since its fabric has more fibers that create small air pockets that help maintain body heat.
In addition to not producing itch in contact with the skin, as it sometimes happens with other wools, it is flexible and particularly resistant, and in blankets and other baby clothes it helps to maintain body heat perfectly much more than cotton. Another of its great advantages is its very high water absorption, since this wool can absorb up to 33% moisture, allowing the human body to stay in dry heat
